Aerial Yoga Studio

I got into Aerial yoga a few years ago at the Om Yoga Show in London. Five minutes in the aerial hammock and I was sold. The feeling of utter support and calm whilst in cocoon was something truly uplifting and from then on, I made it my mission to find a way to bring this practise to my clients. Several months of researching quality courses and training and I found a training course and obtained qualified teaching status for Aerial yoga. Using the swing as means of gaining traction I immediately could see the use for it in a therapeutic way and furthered my training with a back-care course too.

Seeing the benefits of this with the clients I worked on and my own practice with back care and the benefits for those with special educational needs and there grew my interest. I have a purpose-built studio set to take up to 4 clients. I can work on a 1-1 basis or with mini groups in this area.

Aerial Yoga allows clients to reach poses they had thought unreachable and find a freedom with inversions that previously may have been a challenge. My aim is to make aerial yoga accessible for all with the focus on a therapeutic and mindful practice more than the acrobatic styles that are often seen. Bringing a sense of inner peace and tranquillity in this busy and rather hectic world and taking time for you, centring and focussing gratitude inwards and enjoying the playfulness and freedom that the aerial approach is something everyone could fall in love with.
